2 - Which artists inspire you and why?
Kanye West - he’s this super rare visionary and artist. He’s done it so many times across so many artistic expressions and somehow people still doubt him. That’s really wild to me. One day I will create with him.
Leonardo Da Vinci – he was a brilliant creator who seemed to just follow creative threads wherever they weaved and had this intense curiosity to explore different mediums. I admire how his creations led to real world utility and how he was instrumental in advancing the arts, sciences, and engineering.
Gab Bois - I love her creations and appreciate the way she sees things. She’s able to take the mundane and transform it into something extraordinary. It’s such beautiful alchemy.
Post Malone - he’s just such an authentic human. I love how he’s just so unapologetically himself. He’s a great appreciator of nearly all genres and eras of music and I believe that really contributes to his insanely eclectic voice and powerful range. I can’t wait to listen to his country album.

4 - What qualities and skills should a designer have?
Curiosity, discipline, and courage.
Always be willing to shed what no longer serves you.
Always be willing to go where it scares you because that’s where the gold lies.

5 - What are you most proud of?
That I’ve put myself out there. It’s a frightening thing releasing your creations into the wild, especially in the beginning when they’re so raw so I’m proud of myself for that. Secondly, that my family, friends, and new friends from all over the world connect with and appreciate my work. The messages and comments really mean everything. Lastly, that brands, musicians, and creators pay me for my work and enjoy collaborating with me.

6 - What advice would you give for a young designer?
Let go of your expectations and just put your thing out there. Even if you think it has been done before it hasn’t been done by you, and only you can do it so I hope you find the courage to show us your gifts. It also doesn’t have to make sense. You never know what it can be or where it can lead you unless you put it out there. It’s really about the journey so love where you are while maintaining that vision of where you imagine you’d like to be. That perfect moment never comes and you’re never really ready so just continue to show up and do the damn thing!
