1 ‐ Introduce yourself:
I’m Marc Urtasun, a freelance designer from Barcelona (Spain). I’ve been designing for 6 years specializing in 3D motion and design and I’m still loving what I do.
I’ve had the pleasure of working for brands like Nike, Adidas, Google, Nickelodeon or Riot Games.
However, my favourite projects are usually personal projects. Those projects where there are no brands and no limits, just you and your ideas, infinite, and boundless.
I’m passionate about design, 3D, typography, illustration, animation... so I always try to combine together all my interests and continue learning every day.

I’m always looking for inspiration and discovering new artists and studios on Instagram or Behance.
I like artists like David McLeod, Daniel Arsham , Mark Gmehling, It’s A Living, Local Preacher, Alberto Mielgo, Mattias Lindström, Mighty SHORT, Pelizer César, Peter Tarka, Antoni Tudisco, Lucas Wakamatsu, & many more!
Each one has something different and they play really well with colors. Creating sensations and unique styles. It doesn’t matter if they are photographers, 2D or 3D designers or illustrators...

3 ‐ What’s the most important thing to know about you? (3 most important things, not necessarily related to work)
I don’t have anything that's “most important”. But maybe...
- I’m very skeptical. I have doubts about everything and that’s a big problem when I’m working...
- I’m a procrastinator.
- I'm very nervous and shy.

- Passionate. If you don't love what you do, nobody will do it. Art is about passion.
- Perfectionist.
- Curious.
- Humble.

5 ‐ What are you most proud of?
Related to my life, I am very proud to work on what I am passionate towards and I remember it every day.
And related to my works, my favourite project is “Hell Yeah” A series of illustrations and also a real sculpture that I printed in 3D. I combined lettering, 3D, illustration and 3D print in one project.

6 ‐ What advice would you give for a young designer?
- Work hard and set goals.
- It doesn't matter which brand you are working for, if it’s Nike or it’s a small business in your neighborhood, always try to do your best. The most important thing is not the brand but is your work.
- If you don’t have work, invent it. People are going to hire you because they like what you do and you have to show it. On instagram, Behance, your website...Just show what you do. The CV is useless.
- Spend a lot of time looking at references.
